This was a promo that Ryan and I worked on for our friend Okie’s Square One event. Believe it or not, That’s Kool Aid in the water! This shoot was a revisit of sorts, we worked on a project similar to this in the past using blue Kool Aid. Sugar water never looked so good.

So, with the advice of a great friend, I’ve finally decided to start a Tumblr! I’m frantically looking through my archives to find some great pics to share with you. I’m also in the process of moving to New York this week; so needless to say, I’m a whirlwind of emotions.

It’s kind of a purging process to look back at the work I’ve done here in Tampa with some amazing people who have not only influenced my body of work..but have influenced my evolution as a person.

I’m excited to see where my adventure takes me next and what projects I’ll consume. And, yes, consume. Because as artists..don’t we all eat/breathe/embody/immerse our being with our work?

Speaking of eating…I’ll post one picture for now. But at the moment..I’m off to a going away BBQ/pool party being thrown in my honor!

xx

This was one of my first projects with Ryan in 2005. But definitely still one of my personal faves. For sentimental and aesthetic reasons.
